H43 Team Nobby finishes the FIM CEV Repsol season in the points

Nicolas Czyba scores points in Sunday’s race and H43 Team Nobby ends the year on a high note

Ricardo Tormo Circuit held the last round of the FIM CEV Repsol championship in a weekend marked by changing weather conditions. H43 Team Nobby, in addition to Nicolas Czyba and Mateusz Pasiuk, was joined by Jacopo Hosciuc, who was making his debut in the European Superstock 600 championship.

In Friday’s free practice, H43 Team Nobby was the protagonist with a creditable second place for Nicolas Czyba with a time of 1:48.193. In addition, Jacopo Hosciuc achieved his best lap in FP2, proving to be competitive throughout the sessions.

Saturday’s qualifying session was marked by rain and the difficult track conditions. Despite all the adversities, H43 Team Nobby was consistent throughout the day. In the end, Nicolas Czyba qualified tenth with a time of 1:52.457 and Jacopo Hosciuc twelfth with a time of 1:53.684.

In Sunday’s race, Jacopo Hosciuc had some minor mechanical problems that H43 Team Nobby managed to solve. However, the Spanish team decided not to go out on track as it was Jacopo’s first experience in this category. On the other hand, Nicolas Czyba had a great performance certifying his good progression since the beginning of the year. The German rider moved up several positions during the race and proved to be competitive. In the end, a red flag with five laps to go ended the race and Czyba finished sixth, scoring ten points in the overall standings. With these results, Nicolas Czyba finishes the season eleventh with 41 points.

Manuel Hernández (Team Manager)“In the Superstock 600 class, we are very happy with Nicolas Czyba. After coming back from injury in Jerez, he has been working very hard these last two months and it showed this weekend. Czyba has had good results, we are happy with his evolution and he is also very happy with the team. As for Jacopo, this is his first race in this category and we can be satisfied because he didn’t make any mistakes. It was a difficult weekend for him because of the weather conditions but he was very solid. In the race, we had a small mechanical problem which, although the team fixed it, we decided to keep him off the track so as not to take any risks as it was his first experience with this bike”.

Bad luck prevents better results for H43 Team Nobby at HETC

Mateusz Pasiuk continues to learn race after race in the Hawkers European Talent Cup and confirms his improvement despite setbacks

After an intense free practice, Saturday’s qualifying session was dominated by difficult weather conditions. However, Mateusz Pasiuk set his fastest lap in QP2 with a time of 1:54.929. This result meant he missed out on qualifying for Sunday’s race by just a few tenths of a second. The H43 Team Nobby rider had another chance, in the form of the repechage, where he proved to be very competitive for much of the race and fought for the top positions, setting the fastest lap with a time of 1:52.830. With four laps to go, he suffered a crash when he was in second position.

Manuel Hernández (Team Manager)“The weekend was marked by difficult weather conditions, which had a significant influence on the riders. Mateusz Pasiuk has evolved very well in a category that is one of the most complicated in the world. Pasiuk has been making progress over the days. It was a pity that in qualifying, due to the rain, he crashed out of Sunday’s race by a few tenths of a second. In the race he had a spectacular race and set the fastest lap. When he was in second place he crashed with three laps to go”.

Overall assessment of the season

Manuel Hernández (Team Manager)“Finally, I want to thank the whole team for the way they have worked. It has been a complicated year due to injuries, with some very good races but also some not so good ones, but all these factors are part of what this sport is all about. The overall assessment of the whole season is quite positive, we have all worked very well, from the mechanics and the whole technical team to the press department, photographers and the hospitality people. I want to thank each and every one of them, we are already thinking about next season”
