H43 Team Nobby continues to grow at Aragon

The H43 Team Nobby riders went from strength to strength as the days went by in a tough weekend for the world of motorcycling due to the loss of Hugo Millán

The European Championship arrived at the MotorLand Aragon circuit for the fifth round of the FIM CEV Repsol. H43 Team Nobby came to this round with the clear intention to take a step forward in the Superstock 600 category. In the European Talent Cup, H43 Team Nobby could not count on the young rider Mateusz Pasiuk due to an injury that prevented him from being present in this race.

H43 Team Nobby started the weekend in the best possible way with the return of Nicolas Chris Czyba, after overcoming the serious injury he suffered in Estoril. In Friday’s free practice, the standout rider was Guillermo Moreno, the Mexican rider setting his fastest lap in FP2 with a time of 1:59.323. Czyba, on the other hand, set his best lap in 1:59.884.

In qualifying on Saturday, both H43 Team Nobby riders improved their times from the free practice. Guillermo Moreno finished sixth with a time of 1:58.917. On the other hand, German rider Nicolas Czyba qualified seventh, only three thousandths of a second behind his teammate.

The first race of the weekend was marked by the competitiveness between the Superstock600 riders. The H43 Team Nobby riders managed to climb one position during the race. On the one hand, Guillermo Moreno finished in fifth position with a constant pace and Nicolas Czyba achieved a successful sixth place in his first race of this season after his long recovery process. With these results, Moreno takes sixth place in the overall standings and Czyba scores his first ten championship points.

The second race was cancelled due to the death of Hugo Millán, the Cuna de Campeones rider who was competing in the Hawkers European Talent Cup. From H43 Team Nobby we send our best wishes to family, friends and all his team. May he rest in peace.
